Speccy Tape 1.4.0 - submitted to Apple

New in this version:

  • Improved app stability in certain condition
  • Added skin manager
  • Added "Bright paper" skin
  • Large icon update - forgot to do this last time...

    I just wanted to say that this is an excellent app. In fact, it's the most useful app I have for my iPhone. If only there was something similar for other old 8 bits! Thank you very much for developing this.

    Hi,
    Simply no time. Bribes won't do any good ( well depends on the bribe ). No time even for making it iOS7 compliant. Maybe I will just release the source code although it's a mess...

    Hi,

    I am very happy with the app, it gives the speccy a new life. Problem for me however is that it works with a tape adapter in a +2 speccy, but I can't get enough volume one a regular 48k (I have several and tried them all).
    I have seen that some use an amplifier and you also have mentioned this. What would be the best way to buy/build an amplifier for the signal so it will work on a 48k?

    Thank you for this great App. I am an Amstrad CPC user and would like to know if you may add support for CDT files in this App. That would be great and should be quite easy as TZX and CDT files share format.

    I love this app and use it most days but according to a message in there latest version of iOS the app won't work in the next version. Have you any plans to update the app? If not would you be willing to share your source code?

    Hi. I just want to thank you for creating this App in the first place. Although i'm having to use an old iphone 4 dedicated just for Spectrum games :)

    I realise that you've probably moved onto other things but please know that there is real interest in this app from members of the Spectrum Facebook page, who would gladly pay for an app like this that works on the latest versions of IOS.

    It isn´t posible get it by Itunes. It´s posible to get it in other site? I know that only run with OX V 9 but for my it´s enogth. Thanks.
